Karen Gillan reveals bald head at Comic

Karen Gillan leaves no stone unturned or hair untouched when getting into character.

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" actress, who plays the villainous space pirate, Nebula, in the Marvel film, revealed her bald head at Comic-Con Saturday, Yahoo! Movies reports.

While she was sitting on a panel at the convention, moderator Chris Hardwick asked, "Isn't Nebula bald?"

Responding quickly, Gillan said, "Yeah, she is. And I might have done something a little bit crazy."

The 25-year-old actress took off her red wig to show her hairless dome underneath.

As the crowd went wild for Gillan's new look, she threw the hair piece into the audience before realizing, "I need that back!"

"You do NOT want to give your wig to people at Comic-Con," Hardwick added.

But the "Doctor Who" star wasn't the only one with a new hairless hairdo. Other actors, like Michael Rooker (Yondu), Dave Bautista (Drax the Destroyer), and Djimon Hounsou (Korath) also showed up to the "Guardians" panel with bald heads.
