Actors, friends, tennis fans and tailored suit connoisseurs Bradley Cooper and Gerard Butler had prime seats at Wimbledon for Andy Murray's historic finals victory over Novak Djokovic. Both appeared to have a great time, cheering on Murray like they were in a bar in Dunblane rather than Centre Court's royal box.
In the following GIF, captured after Murray won a crucial second-set point, Cooper shows more emotion than he did in each of the last two Hangover movies, combined.
Butler is a Scotsman, so his ties to Murray are obvious. Cooper has been a longtime tennis aficionado and occasional toothpick chewer, if this picture if any indication.
The Daily Mail says Cooper and Butler became friends after co-presenting at the 2010 Oscars, where they could have commiserated about Murray's recent loss to Roger Federer in the Australian Open final.
It wasn't a total bros' day out, however. Cooper's girlfriend, Suki Waterhouse, sat to his right, but apparently wasn't as interesting a photo subject as Butler.
Butler later took a picture with Murray's mother, Judy. Kudos to him for remembering to give her a hug, unlike another Scotsman who shall go remain unnamed (ANDY MURRAY).
