Officials looking into allegations involving Lolo Jones

Olympic hurdler turned bobsledder Lolo Jones has had her share of attention in her new sport. Now U.S. bobsled officials are looking into whether she was in a bar fight Friday night in Lake Placid.

USA Bobsled & Skeleton is looking into the allegations and speaking to the athletes and witnesses that were at the bar Friday night, said USBSF spokesperson Amanda Bird.

"We are treating this like we have with any other situation by investigating to see if there is a code of conduct violation," Bird wrote in an email.

Amy Van Dyken, the former Olympic champion swimmer turned Fox Sports Tonight radio host, first told the story on her Monday show. According to Van Dyken, Jones knocked out the stepdaughter of Tony Carlino, who has been called the "Bobfather," given his career as an athlete, coach, administrator and now manager of the Olympic Sports Complex in Lake Placid.

An email to Carlino and Jones' agent was not returned Tuesday.
